S. CAMPBELL: The tweezers did the job. It was my first time removing a tick and the tool for larger ticks was too big. So I went for it with the tweezers, pulled steadily and firmly and it worked. I did drop the tick (as I said I am an amateur) and thankfully my husband found it and it was intact so really pleased.
