Kaulika: This sunscreen is so great, I have used it since my little one was an infant (zinc oxide sunscreens without chemical UV filter sunscreens are the only ones safe for babies under 6 months), and I also use it on my super sensitive skin with no issues. We both have super fair skin and it's the only sunscreen I can wear. It also smells great, kind of like a creamsicle, and that scent goes away after a few minutes. I'm quite sensitive to sunscreen smells and this one doesn't trigger a headache like traditional sunscreens do.
I find that on days with a high UV index, I put a rash guard and hat on my kid, and do either a really thick layer or a double layer of this sunscreen (rub in one layer, then rub in a second layer), which works really well. If you're getting burned with this sunscreen and are following application instructions, you probably just need to apply a thicker layer. This is a barrier sunscreen and not a chemical sunscreen, so the key is really making sure you have enough on, and that you rub it in completely.
