Amazon Customer: Very disjointed. Bounced around to different individuals and their reason for trading. It is a difficult way to tell a story and not very interesting

Johnny: I found this book riveting. I could not put it down. It read like a drama. All the players were interesting.

daniel cotton: I seems so long ago. This book captures the battle between retail and wallstreet so well. I love seeing diverse investors and their reasons for joining, their agonizing choice of whether to hold or fold. The story isn't done, I'm hoping for a sequel. The fight continues. I'd like to see AMC added to the fray. The use of flagrant price manipulation that is ongoing. And the regulators disregard for the regulations.

joe carey: Brilliant read and insight into the goings on in wall street and it's portrals of ordinary people in ordinary jobs trying to
and succeeding in beating the system, Ben never fails to deliver in his books and from the 1st chapter to the last he has you gripped and unable to put the book down and I cannot wait for more from this incredibly talented storyteller

Guy White: Slow moving and far too much colour for a very simple story. Trying to make drama where there isn't very much. Even the title is playing off the success of his Zuckerberg bio.

Amazon Customer: Book feels rushed. Overall summary of the GME event but not deeper than a Wikipedia article
Written for being an Hollywood movie

Daniel: To say this book feels rushed is an understatement. The author pads this very thin narrative with too much useless fluff and character descriptions. He seeks to emulate Micheal Lewis, but the latter offers tidbits that are truly interesting and more importantly, tightly-written. Mezrich just can’t stop himself, he goes on and on about this person’s musical tastes, that person’s office decor, some other person’s childhood memory… it’s all irrelevant (and I’m guessing mostly made-up by the author to flesh out his characters, should Hollywood decide to make a movie from these 2D illustrations). Why should I care about these details? All these unrelated padded profiles are mind-numbing to read. There is little insight and few behind the scenes details. The lack of in-depth research is glaring. The author fails to ask basic questions, in the process extrapolating recent events into a long term-trend. The definitive re-telling of these events will have to wait a few years, and/or a more talented and patient author. In short, this book is all exposition, with no action and no resolution!

Robert: "The Antisocial Network" is the perfect companion piece to the movie "Dumb Money", and vice versa. After viewing the movie recently, I purchased the book. The movie throws a lot of information at you and can be hard to follow if you are not familiar with stocks and Wall Street. Reading the book makes the movie easier to understand and the movie brings the characters to life. As with many movie adaptations of books, while the stories are the same the way they are presented is different. I now understand what it means to "short a stock", and what a "short squeeze" is, as well as the terms "30's" and "payment for order flow". I enjoy reading his books such as "The Accidental Billionaires", which was also made into a movie, and "Bringing Down the House" which was made into the movie "21". If you enjoy fact based books based on interesting subjects, you should try some of his titles.
