Tasukihori: This book is a must have for you or someone in your family that’s a Type One Diabetic. The first 30 pages are Type One Diabetic tips and tricks for how to manage your insulin, carb intake, glucose, a well balanced diabetic diet, and more. I recommend anyone who’s Type One Diabetic to read or skim through the first 30 pages for the extra information.
My only complaint is the cookbook has no pictures of the end product of what you are trying to cook. I love to see pictures of the final product to get an idea of what it looks like and if it looks like it’s something appetizing for me to create. The only pictures in this cookbook are at the beginning of each chapter unfortunately, and they don’t have a cliff note at the bottom of the page to at least let you know what page you could find the recipe on for the picture.
Other than that. Very nice book to own if you or a loved one has Type One Diabetes, and you want to figure out what types of healthy food options are available to cook from.

Mrs H N Smith: This is an excellent book, the food is a big hit with my T1 diabetic husband and the flavours of the meals are fantastic if you like easy, yet zingy or spicy additions to your meals. Substitutes for complex carbs (such as cauliflower rice instead of rice) are great and work well. Best recipes we have tried for a T1 so far or for anyone after healthy flavoursome food. Highly recommend.

Mandie Adams: Great information for a newly diagnosed T1 diabetic. Unfortunately I didn't realise it was American so the reading advice means nothing to me in the UK
