I have been cooking a lot more Chinese food and some of the ingredients are not available but these Chinese five spice mixed with other items replaces it perfectly and this bottle was very reasonably priced.

I'm giving this five stars because it is a good product just not a flavor my family likes. It is very sweet and flowery flavored with the anise, cinnamon and clove as the strongest flavors. My husband said it was like eating the flavor of candle on our chicken.
I was trying a new recipe and I gave the spice to a friend for them to try it.
Like I said it is a wonderful product, it arrived timely, just not a flavor for us.
