Tammie: Enjoyed the cookbook, not sure I’d make every single recipe but beneficial either way. Fung is a definite recommendation!

Bella: I am absolutely convinced that Dr Fung has solved the mystery of the obesity epidemic. I am at last losing weight and it’s easy! I highly recommend this cookbook for anyone who wants to control their weight, not just for the recipes, which are all appealing, but for the theory detailed at the beginning of the book. His other book is very wordy with a lot of scientific information and statistics which are set out much more succinctly in the cookbook.

Sharon R: Right away I tried the chia seed parfait - using the frozen fruit I had in the freezer (cherries, blueberries, mango) - I enjoyed it and it was nice to eat something that was only sweetened by the natural fruit.
I find there is flexibility with the ingredients in the recipes.
There are a few recipes I want to try - I like the pictures and don't need pictures for everything.
Most recipes are easy to follow & not complicated.
Anyone who is adventurous & health conscious would have the ingredients listed in this book - I didn't find that there were ingredients not in my cupboards.
It has a good read at the beginning to educate people on the Obesity Code - I have just started the Intermittent Fasting and it was not as difficult as I thought it would be. It is actually good to feel a little bit hungry. I am losing weight. It is a commitment to make this your lifestyle. I have tried many diets & I remember that the intermittent fasting worked the best for me in the past as well. I am more motivated towards getting to a healthier weight & trying the recipes than I have been in a long time.

Canadian Shopper: I just received "The Obesity Code Cookbook" Hard copy in the mail yesterday and was disappointed. I haven't made anything as of yet, just took a quick look through it. The recipes look good but very limited on pictures and No Nutritional values for the food you are going to prepare. I am type 2 diabetic and when buying food Nutritional values are important. I have to know how much insulin to take to compensate for the food I am going to eat. Again to me it is like buying food with no Fact sheets on it. I have downloaded a lot of Keto recipes off the internet all with Carb and sugar content. I will not download a recipe without the nutritional Facts. I personally would not of bought this Book had I known. I expected better of Dr. Fung. This is my honest opinion of This Cookbook. I don't plan on buying any more of his books. I also bought his other Book, "The Diabetes Code" of which I haven't read as of yet.

A Reader from PA: Backstory:
When I was diagnosed Type 2 diabetes about a year and a half ago, I was a bit shell shocked, if maybe not surprised. My lifestyle and genetics (mainly my lifestyle, or lack thereof) made it almost an unavoidable given. I went from working over 40 hours a week on my feet to being a 24/7 caregiver to my elderly parents. The sedentary lifestyle and terrible food choices put me on the fast track to diabetes, so, yeah, I guess I wasn't surprised. After that almost predictable diagnosis, I did what many do..Google. And even looked on Youtube. It was on Youtube that I found what I call my saving grace....Dr. Jason Fung. He was the first Youtube video that resonated with me. It finally made sense, and a "lightbulb" moment happened. I didn't need the seeming unavoidable sentence of a lifetime prescription of med's..I just needed to drastically change what I ate. I was a bit hesitant to try Intermittent Fasting that Jason talked about, but I thought, why not? I immediately lost a lot of weight and noticed changes in my overall health for the better. I had more energy and felt like 'my old self' again, not a tired worn out old lady. Shoot, I was only in my late 40's, yet until...

These are my go-to sweeteners. I keep one in the cabinet at home and one in my purse for when I’m out. Fantastic stuff!!: You will definitely want this as a companion book for “The Obesity Code”! The recipes are easy to follow and delicious. Something for every taste!
