D. Grayston: I have watched all the tv series and found out that Joe Kenda had written two books, which I have read both. I recommended the books to my husband as he watched the tv series too.
I gave five stars as it has a true insight to crime, is scary, sad, unbelievable and humorous all at the same time. Well written as I read the book I could hear Joe Kenda’s voice telling me the the words.

Karissa Landis: Just started reading this today. The writing is good. I’ve watched Kendra’s shows and like his storytelling. My problem with the book itself is that the pages are poorly attached and try to come out as I read. They’re only secure at about the bottom inch or two of the spine. If it weren’t for this I’d give it five stars

Cyndi: I always suspected it, but now having read two of Joe Kenda's books, I am convinced he is, in real life, not just on television, a very honest and good human being. A man who did what he could, and along with his fellow law enforcement personnel, made our world a bit safer by his sacrifices. Thank you Joe Kenda, and thank you to his strong and tenacious wife Kathy for sticking by him in the challenging years. She obviously knew the quality man she had and now is being rewarded by "having her Joe back" in their retirement years together. Big hug to you both!

Kim Sikorsky: I love the honesty of Det Joe Kenda in this book especially the last chapter about his life now. His first book is also very good. I love both of his television series having watched all episodes of both. Finding strength and what helps to do so is a powerful message that I am grateful for. I moved my four daughters in 1994 from Kansas to Canada for our safety and new life. Yes an ex who also hurt my girls. We are all doing well except my first born twin Vanessa passed away the day after her 36th birthday in 2016. Again I have had to have strength to continue on. Due to the hurt in her past before we moved to Canada.
I highly recommend this book and his first book and two television series. Again thank you Det Joe Kenda
