Alizon Roth: I was a first year referee this year. I asked all the other refs what to get and this product was the most recommended. In volleyball you keep your whistle in your mouth the entire time you are working. I really like the rubber where it sits on my teeth. I have sensitive teeth and it was very comfortable. I have a cheaper whistle that I was given without the rubber and I don't even use it anymore. This whistle also has a strong and clear sound so it was the perfect tool for the job. If I ever need another one this will be the one I buy again.

Eric M.: If you plan on standing on the ice and blowing a whistle, this one works great. If you are a somewhat active coach, stick handling and demonstrating drills with contact, you might want a whistle in your pocket or on your neck. The whistle will snag things like jerseys and boards and pull out of the strap pretty easily. Also, I’m an adult who wears 16” gloves, and the strap on this whistle is a little short, so the glove bunches up a bit.
