Michael Gale: It's wonderful. Be warned, the Council of Trent version isn't the Catechism you grew up with. I believe it is a pastoral version, focusing on beliefs and their explanation plainly for an audience. High readability, especially for those that want to try and tackle it over a year. It's a great Catechism with rich history but I do recommend the "regular" Catechism as well to have the references you need for study and/or apologetics.

Michael Wagner: Einen Katechismus braucht man, wenn man katholisch sozialisiert ist. Auf Deutsch und auf Englisch. Das sind die Sprachen, die ich spreche. Wie bei der Heiligen Schrift auch. Manches kommt oft in der anderen Sprache deutlicher an. Diese Ausgabe ist ein Taschenbuch-Ausgabe. Für den sporadischen Gebrauch perfekt.

手に取った時に翻訳語感満載で、非常に内容が分かりにくく感じました。
それで、英語版（さすがにラテン語とかフランス語は無理ですから…）を
手に取ったところ、一部の専門用語を辞書で調べる程度で、仮に義務教育の
英語の範囲でも「伝えたいこと」は十分ななめ読みで理解できる感じです。
かなりのボリュームがあるので、見た目に引いてしまいそうですが、章立て、
各章の最後に要約などもあり、脚注も充実していますから、毎日チョビチョビ、
またはようやくだけ一気になどの読み方ができます。

Terry Fenwick: You get wonderfully lost 'in' this Big Green Book - in the wonder of it all - when you start to look up something in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. My husband and I were Converts and, although we knew the Bible very, very well when we came into full-Communion in the Catholic Church, we still had a lot to learn. We both had our own copies of the Big Green Book (this one) as well as several copies of the small light weight white one which went into our book bags. However, this larger Catechism has everything - the best foot notes and an excellent Glossary. The Glossary was written by former Archbishop William Levada, of the Archdiocese of San Francisco Agana, who is now William Cardinal Joseph Levada, the Prefect of the Congregation of the Faith. The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith is to promote and safeguard the doctrine on the faith and morals throughout the Catholic world - the former role of our new Pope Benedict XVI. Cardinal Levada was the only American to work on the new Catechism.
