Brandon: Looking to invest in real estate for the first time. This book was very helpful in helping to understand all the processes and steps (there are many) to be aware, as well as providing good practical suggestions on what to look for in a property and how to analyze a potential investment. Would highly recommend.

Shopper: An example: the author outlines "REOs/Foreclosures," and then "Fixer-Uppers," as different types of rental properties. Even though, in reality and in the author's own descriptions, these are rather "traits" of rental properties, not mutually exclusive types.

This kind of miscategorization makes the book much less clear.

I would also add that the author tends to overgeneralize based on anecdotal evidence.

Gianluca Tranchedone: Like the other books in the series, this book is also too long for my taste. I’d have preferred it went straight to the points instead of giving examples and stories on everything. That said, it covers all the basics for getting started in real estate investing.

Josh PedersenJosh Pedersen: I'm not sure why there are negative reviews of this book. I think most people want a step by step, hand holding, you can do this sweetheart book. This book does tell you how to invest in real estate step by step, but every country and even states/province's have different rules and regulations. Brandon does say that you should do your research, and if you arent willing to do that then real estate investing is not for you. Top notch book!!!! I live in canada and found a wealth of information that was relatable in my country. Thanks Brandon for your wisdom and your podcast. PS. You dont have to buy this book, all the same info is in his podcast which is free!!!!
