Cassandra Ogbozor: This is a great Bible Study book that walks you through how to put on the armor of God. My prayer life increased, and this really is a wonderful book to go through for small groups. I highly recommend.

gigigigi: First let me say that anything from Priscilla Shirer is the real deal. She is speaking the truth. This book has made me treasure the gift of The Armor of God and she breaks down each 'piece' so to speak, and what it does, why we should have it, what it will do for us. I don't even get out of my bed now without saying a prayer putting on the Lord's protection. You need this book!

D. B.: Curious about the 1 Star ratings, I read them. YES, this is a workbook - which I usually don't really like to do. BUT THIS WAS WAY BETTER AS A WORKBOOK, than simply a book BECAUSE Priscilla has one identify their current life issues (ex -strain with a boss, feeling defeated as a mom with parenting issues, financial concerns, upcoming holidays with troublesome relatives, etc. etc.) and then has me apply the armor to these issues as we study each new piece of armor. Talk about user friendly! Each piece of armor has 5 days of study to understand and apply it to my life. #2 - THIS IS NOT A SCARE TACTIC (this is about the reality of Satan and his attempts to diminish/sabotage our relationships with God and those around us). After all, what was Jesus talking about when he told Peter, "Get behind me Satan!"? Peter was speaking out words that Satan would use to divert the Lord from defeating Satan on the Cross! Whether you like to think about Satan or not, THE TRUTH IS THAT WE ALL HAVE INNER STRUGGLES and OUTWARD CHALLENGES at times, that often spill out into our relationships with others. And this sometimes causes us to ask "WHERE ARE YOU GOD?" or "WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME?" The Armor...
