Emily WEmily W: This book is funny and full of very interesting techniques that I never would have thought of if it weren't for this book. I'm excited to try some of the winemaking recipes in it too, so, worth the money! The book is about a half inch thick, picture for reference among my book stack.

T. Porter: Lost my first copy years ago so I just recently picked up another. It covers a little bit of everything, made from anything, to get you drunk anywhere. And it's funny.
If you have a little free time and just about anything containing sugar, this book will steer you in the right direction.

Alvin: This book contains so much information it can be overwhelming. While most people purchasing this book may be interested in the distilling portion, this book also covers the process for making beer and wine, along with numerous recipes with very good instructions.
The only thing I did not like about this book was the layout. I do not like the double columns of text and the smaller print, it makes the book a bit harder to read and to find what you are looking for. However, the amount of information and instructions far outweighs that one negative. This book is a gold mine of information for the hobbyist looking to make some homebrew or get into distilling.
