River crombie: My husband wanted to try camping with me and requested a double sleep bag after our first trip.
I sleep cold. Like ridiculously cold. To the point I’ve had to change all my sleeping gear to extreme or Everest/Glacier temp ratings (-10:-15C, -30:-40F).

So when the double bag was requested I was very hesitant. My husband sleeps on the hot side while I’m on the freezing side.
I sent a good amount of time comparing and pricing out bags. M.E.C, Atmosphere, Breath outdoor sports and many others don’t do double sleeping bags. Which let limited options and I didn’t was to spend a ridiculous amount for something I didn’t think would work.

We agreed that I got yo pick the cold rating and color would not matter. I eventually settled on -18 and teal. It is always easier to unzip a bag yo cool off the to try and warm up a frozen body.

Mug to my pleasant surprise it is very warm and comfortable! Now I do sleep with a light blanket in the bag but this is because I like to mummy up and keeps any unwanted drafts off me when my husband unzips and flips open his entire side.

Now I’m short at 5.4 and my husband is almost 6f. To height is always a problem....

Robert: Good product.

I compared with a few local camping store (MEC, lacordé, canadian ect) and i was not able to find a better product (size and temp rating).

Obviously there are products out there that are twice the cost but i dont see how any more money can make this product better.

Good zippers, quiet.
Liner polyflanel is cosy and nice to the touch.
Dries fast after thunder storm night and everything is damp.
Nice and hot; my wife was always cold and this one is quite hotter than our previous one.

Yes its “big” but not bigger than two individual adult sleeping bags same temperature rating.

I was a little worried about it not fitting back into the carrying bag as many reviews mentioned...but i believe many of those people simply dont know how to put it back in.

Its rolled into the bag from production but that never how it goes back in after the first use.
I simply stuff it and it fits perfect. I always do this task alone and it really doesn't need two people to stuff it back into the storage bag.

Be aware of similar product ( online and in store) that claim similar temperature rating while being half the weight. While...

The night time temperatures ranged anywhere from the high 40's to the high 60's at night. I was quite comfortable in this bag while sleeping in just a pair of shorts. I never intended to use it in any colder weather, I just wanted a sleeping bag that would keep my warm without having to have layers of clothing on. It did it's job wonderfully for me. As for the stuff sack. I was using my US Navy seabag, but it was still a struggle to get it into that bag as well. I have since purchased two 60 liter dry bags (I motorcycle camp) and by separating the sleeping bag into each half, it fits easily into the two dry bags. It is also much easier to pack on the motorcycle and carry each bag, instead of one large bag.
First impressions, this bag is huge. I order this sleeping bag for a couple of reasons.

Elias: Primero que nada PARA GUARDAR EL SLEEPING DE VUELTA EN SU BOLSA sólo basta meterlo hecho bola, uno tiende a pensar que hay que enrollarlo y luego meter el rollo en la bolsa del sleeping, pero resulta que no es así, basta con meter una orilla del sleeping y seguir metiendo el resto del sleeping así hecho bola en la bolsa, sin tener que enrollarlo ni nada, nada más lo metes como puedas y así es el chiste con los sleepings, no tiene ciencia, nada más comenzar por un extremo y seguir metiéndolo sin ningún orden ni técnica. Pueden ver tutoriales si en youtube buscan "How to Stuff the Mammoth Sleeping Bag into its Stuff Sack".

El sleeping está perfecto, perfecto, es súper resistente, muy acolchadito y extremadamente calientito. Yo nunca había visto un sleeping tan grande como este, tan grande y pesado. Pero lo cierto es que es sumamente calientito. We've been using this bag since 2017. We have not had one problem with this bag. We haven't had any rips, tears or broken zippers. It's still like beans new. This bag is VERY warm which is great for camping in the Sierra's or anywhere it gets cold. We haven't had any issues with trying to stay warm since we bought this bag. I sure wish we'd bought it years ago. I do take a sheet when we camp at lower elevations and the temperatures are warm or hot. We unzip the bag and just use the sheet as a cover. When my husband doesn't go camping I get one of my adult daughter's or a grandchild to help me put it back in the sack. I'm a pro at it now. It's really not that hard once you know how to do it. Just watch and follow the video that the manufacturer put out.
