Ebor: This is the only decaf black tea we've ever tried that actually tastes strong like real tea. It can be a pain to find where we are, but it's worth it because the other brands of decaf just taste like water with some food coloring.

Joe: Love this tea

D. Goodwin: I have been a tea drinker for most of my 74 years, and this tea is one of the better ones. For some reason, it's hard to find in retail stores in decaf, so I was happy to find in on Amazon. I keep two or three boxes on hand so I don't have to order too often. It has a nice smooth flavor and the little round satchels make it easy to spoon out of the tea cup when it's ready to drink. For years, I used Bigelow products, but find this blend much more satisfying.

Buyer: I couldn't believe how awful this tea is..even the aroma was skunky...And at 3X cost of the regular decaf..Tetly..It's a rip!!.

DwegsDwegs: 1. Granular appearance expected. That’s what it is, and it’s completely normal for anyone who grew up on loose tea (UK style).
2. It’s a decent cuppa. It’s Tetley, which was never the boldest or most flavorful tea, but it’s a good basic cuppa.
3. The way you make it matters:
1) warm the tea pot with a little hot water just before you pour it over the tea (I use a fine Saki strainer pot, great pot).
2) Pour BOILING water over the tea, and let steep for about 4-5 mins before pouring (make sure the tea is immersed in the water)
3) Ideally, warm your tea mug (only bone China if you want good tea) with boiled water, then introduce roughly 1/12th - 1/10th milk (see pic).
4) Pour steeped tea over the milk till mug is 7/8 full... or a tad more possibly.
5) Most important, take time to sit and sip your freshly made tea. A nice rich tea biscuit, or digestive will serve to enhance the moment of pleasure and refreshment.
So : 4.5 stars for a decent cuppa
3.5 stars for a punctured package :(
However, the Tetley inside was still ok tho, so if you get a package that isn’t punctured, it can only be better I assume.
I’ll order...
