Tenlog TL-D3 Professional Dual Extruder 3D Printer with Independent Nozzles

Amazon Customer: I'm not an expert but this is my 3rd 3d printer and a year of experience. It came nicely packaged and overall the machine looks great. Problems came immediately. Neither nozzle worked. Left one was blocked, right nozzle was in pieces with parts missing. The glass plate was too warped to be usable. I bought a new nozzle and glass bed.
Firmware doesn't drill down as it is intended to do and randomly quits or stops heating mid print.
I have printed 1 nice 2 color print, and I hope to make it work.
There is NO customer service. No answer to emails.
Also not a all metal hot end and will not go to 300 C as advertized
If I had it to do again I would buy 2 Ender Printers

NotMyPotatoeNotMyPotatoe: This is a great printer. Probably best bang for your buck your going to find in an IDEX printer.

Setup was mostly straight forward, included instructions were adequate to get it assembled. But after that your kinda wondering what to do. Nothing in the box tells you how to calibrate anything. Luckily there is youtubes and you can find all the answers you are looking for on how to setup and properly calibrate the dual extruders. This process took me quite a while, couple hours in fact before it click in my brain on how to move the offsets around. There is a calibration file on the included sd card that prints a box in 1 color, then attempts to print a grid IN that box in the other color. Getting this aligned is a bit tedious as you have to keep printing a test print, note which way the print is off, then change the offsets in the printer so that you get the grid in the box all nice and square. Took me about 11 prints - starting and stopping - to get this dialed in.

Pros:
--Cheapest IDEX 3d Printer you will find IMO. Next best thing is 1500 and is missing features this one has.

Texpert: Don't let the clunky appearance and the generic VGA cables fool you... this printer has some serious bang for the buck. I have to admit I was a little nervous about buying a sub-$1000 IDEX-capable printer... but I am happy to report that the Tenlog TL-D3 Pro delivered more than I was expecting.

TL;DR; Easy to assemble with impressive performance and features at its price point. Overall an excellent value for the money. Dual material prints are mostly issue-free and the small issues that do occur can be corrected with easy-to-print upgrades, ooze shields, or with setting optimization. Documentation is woefully inadequate, but the user interface is fairly straight-forward. It might prove challenging for those new to 3D printing, but those with even a little experience shouldn’t have trouble setting up and operating this printer. If you buy the TMC2208 version, the drivers are extremely quiet, however, the extruder cooling fans are quite loud so don't expect silent operation.
