Navy Vet: Have not attached to dock yet because the large attachment hole is too big for a bolt and thre must be a special adapter for mounting it. Have not had time to research to find out what is missing, or what I need to buy to attach it. Other than the attachment question it seems to be what I need to do the job.

Joseph H.: I bought two of these for my Lund 1775 Adventure which is an 18' boat.
Some fixed docks were too high and my gunwales would ride up underneath.
With these fenders they wrap right over the gunwales.
Much better than the regular fenders that just hang over the side.
