They are very durable and each one is "one of a kind." We have used these for about 6 months now, and not a single plate or bowl is chipped. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

KimberlyReads: This is my 2nd set of these. I purchased more cause the cups hold alot of coffee, I NEED my coffee in the morning, I don't have to get a 2nd cup this holds enough for 24 oz and I love it. I waited on my review to see if there were issues with the glaze, if inside stained or surface became rough, it didn't. They clean right up, dishwasher safe and handle doesn't get warm if put in microwave. I would recommend.

C. Furley: love the stoneware. Very beautiful. I would have given them five stars except the seller placed a sticker on each piece saying that there might a variation in the colors. The stickers needed to be scrapped off with a paint scraper and then the residue from the glue needs a chemical to remove it. Just put a paper note on each dish instead of the sticker. Safer for the environment and way easier than removing the sticker. But still great set of dishes

VNB: We love these mugs. We just got our set of four and have been using them exclusively since they arrived and they are the best things ever. Why? Lemme tell ya:

- the packaging was fantastic. We're packing fanatics and these babies were packed to get here in one piece. I believe I could have taken the box out into the street and played a game of soccer in the street with a gang of 12 year old hooligans or drop-kicked the box over my house into the backyard and the mugs would have survived with room to spare.

- they're HUGE but they handle like a much smaller mug. Seriously - I can pour a regular giant sized cup of coffee into my mug and then run the entire floor plan of my house without sloshing or spilling a drop - there is PLENTY of sloshing room before you actually slosh and mess everything up.

- they're gorgeous. The colors are richer and deeper with glossier glosses and more colorful colorings than the pictures here present. The shape makes you want to wrap both hands around it and stare into it's steaming goodness like you were posing for a commercial or something. Seriously, the firing on these is excellent and the glaze is much deeper and smoother than...
