M. Hatfield: We have an older dining set with odd shaped feet. The factory plastic inserts failed years ago and we've muddled along with large pieces of felt stuck on the feet for over ten years. I saw an add on the TV for Ruby Sliders and searched for them. Luckily, super sliders popped up as an option. The felt cups fit around the chair feet like made for them. They look awesome, seem durable (time will tell) and all my chairs now sit evenly on the floor where, before, they wobble and rumble like thunder when the cats jumped on them.

Deano: We have tried felt pads, chair leg socks and other solutions over many years. I got these and so far am really impressed. The key is getting the right size but once on they do not shift and provide great protection. It will be interesting to see how long they last but based on other products I doubt they will be any worse and will likely be much better

Steven L: Great product. As my wife said, we should have done this a long time ago. One of the plastic-over-metal feet broke and I found this on Amazon. The cups fit snuggly on the metal, the adhesive seems strong (and may not have been necessary due to the snug fit) and the thin, carpet like layer seems very durable. The chair moves easily now and silently!

The problem I had is that I bought two 4-packs for two chairs. They were delivered by Amazon in a sealed envelope. But inside I found that one of the 4-packs was previously opened and was missing one of the sliders. Quite amazing! (Is this the result of robot packaging?)

However, even more amazing was how easy it was to request a replacement from Amazon in the app. I will have the replacement tomorrow (next day) and I did not have to deal with the hassle of returning the opened pack. Well, that leaves me three spare sliders that I hopefully will never need.

JBL: These are amazing little gliders for the bottom of our chairs. We have tried several varieties of flat felt gliders and they all come off or wear through. We have had these on our chairs for a little more than a year now and they are all still in place. Not a single one loose or wearing out. The adhesive inside makes them easy to attach and holds them tight.

These gliders provide the right balance of friction and slide for dining room chair on a hardwood surface. They look a tad awkward on the bottoms of the chairs (like little shoes), but I would rather have my floors protected. My only complaint is that I can't find rectangular equivalents for my mother-in-law's chairs.
