These worked perfectly - as long as you’re careful with the installation. On my metal doors, I drilled a pilot hole, then used a “step up” bit ( I’m sure there’s a proper name for it). I believe this type of bit allows a better fit and cleaner whole. I installed on two doors in our home.

D-user: Installation was a breeze, drill, and screw, that’s it! Good field of view, no fuss.

Matthew Giebner: Maybe it could be a little clearer but for the price you can't really beat it. Installed nice and easy and now I can peep out.

RD: Good and cheap solution so you can know who’s outside your door. Why buy an expensive high tech camera WiFi solution when this low tech peep hole works so well? Even works when the power is out!

Danika Cahill: I tried my best to reassemble the sense. It fell out as soon as I opened the box. Otherwise, it seems like a great product.

Daryl: This peephole looks high-end and is a perfect diameter. It's confidently larger than the apologetic little standard ones, but not comically huge like the majority of what my search brought up. Just right if you don't prefer your peephole to be a statement piece.
For a metal door, use a step drill bit from each side then use a chopstick to poke the foam inside out of the way.
Pro-tip for everyone who says the optics of any peephole aren't clear: put on your reading glasses and then look. Your focal point is close to your eyeball even though you're looking at a distance.
