Submersible Sump Pump 1/2HP 2112GPH - Perfect for Clean or Dirty Water

jon h.: i purchased 2 of these units to empty water from collection basins. we often get a lot of rain and thousands of gallons drain off my property into the basins. 1 pump is making noise after a few weeks of work and the other doesnt come on as often. both are still working but i worry the bearings are not lasting on the one. that being said, i ordered another as backup because this pump works well and does not use a lot of electricity

Bree H.Bree H.: This pump worked perfectly to drain our hot tub. It was so easy to use and completely drained the hot tub in about 30 mins. I bought a separate hose (blue hose in the picture). There was some remaining water that I had to suction out with a water gun, but this pump made the process quick and easy! We will use it next to empty and clean our koi pond during the fall.

T. Au: It was used for about once a month around 30 min each time for a year then not being used for about 6 months. Tried to use it again few weeks ago but it no longer works. No noise nor any action from the pump but it is still pulling about 1400 watts power (measured by a kill-a-watt meter). I expected something that cost almost $100 should have a longer life but felt very disappointed and let down, especially getting zero response from the seller after I posted the warranty question to them.

shad: I bought this to drain a 30 thousand gallon in ground pool that had been sitting idle for over a year and full of sediment so the traditional drain could not be used. I tied a roped to the handle, dropped it in the deep in, and the next morning the pool was empty. The pump has a spacing plate base so even when it was sitting in the mud it didn't plug up. It has a float switch which turns it off automatically when the water level gets low. It worked absolutely wonderful for my pool. A couple weeks later I used it to drain a washing machine that had stopped working mid-cycle. I'm sure I will find more uses as time goes on. Great pump. Great price. Great value. Definitely buy this pump.

Charlie: I needed to drain an in ground spa connected to a pool. As the pool is shut down there was no way to drain it through the system. I thought this would do the job and it did it quite well. I paired with a heavy duty 1 1/2 inch hose and lowered into the spa with a rope around the handle. It turned on immediately once submerged with the float. It was putting out water through the hose at a high rate. There was probably 100 -150 gallons of water that was pumped out in 10 minutes. It has a long electrical cord. Small foot print for easy storage. Very pleased.
