Velma BowensVelma Bowens: The table is different in its construction which makes it perfect for my den. It arrived as promised. And was easy to put together as I did it myself. It is very sturdy because I have watched my young grandkids play with toys and climb on top.

Andrew S.: I was looking for a 2-tier budget table with rounded edges and came across this item. Normally I wouldn't write a review for something like this but I wanted to share my experience. The box it arrived in was unfortunately beat up. Once I unpacked everything, I noticed several scratches and some parts were already preassembled (?) which led me to believe some components may of been previously returned by another customer. I'm not exactly sure what happened it just took me by surprise. And I think I know why... One of the steps outlined in the instructions was nearly impossible due to the length of the metal arms so I had to improvise and switch around some of the steps in order to assemble it correctly.

If I was paying a lot of money and/or ordered this from a local reputable furniture store I'd be more upset, but I sorta knew what to expect once I ordered it. Otherwise, both my wife and I are more than happy with it for now and hopefully will last the next few years.

Mike WolfMike Wolf: For what you're paying, you couldn't ask for a better coffee table! It's very attractive in our space and the finish goes well with our existing wood furniture and floors. I was pleasantly surprised with the faux wood look. Instructions were pretty basic and just consist of photos, but having assembled similar pieces in the past, it was rather straight forward and I had no issue putting this by together myself in under 40 minutes, at 6 months pregnant. All parts were clearly labeled and there was no missing hardware. I was pleasantly surprised (and slightly confused at first) to realize that step 3 had already been completed! The table top did have a small scratch and ding, but it's nothing to fuss about and it will probably endure much more wear and tear from our 4yo! Overall, very pleased with the product!
