My life long friend in Jersey moved to a new house and I purchased a Orchid in florida and when I went to visit her, I gave her the orchid and told her not to open the Amazon box. Peachy Keen: This is a really great pot, esp for the cost (I bought on sale). I want to give it 5 stars buuuut, be prepared to get some messy styrofoam bits around and on you as you unpack it. The pot is in the styrofoam so tightly I had to cut it out. I'd still buy it again anyway, and probably will.

JaiPhxDuvJaiPhxDuv: This is a pretty pot. Very thick cement and sturdy. However that also makes it heavy. I never imagined a 6" pot would weigh so much. I bottom water my plants, and drilled a few extra small drinking/drainage holes to the bottom. Since my plants get moved around rather frequently for their watering schedule this is not my ideal pot due to the weight. I currently have a plant that I water every few days in this pot (in fact, after a long search, I specifically chose this pot for it's aesthetic with this particular plant so I'm a bit disappointed), but will probably end up moving it to a lighter weight pot and replace with a less needy plant that doesn't have to be moved as often. This is a nice pot as long as it doesn't need to be moved around much.

Jill S.Jill S.: I L-O-V-E this planter and have gotten a ton of compliments on it.

I was really impressed with the packaging because it was super secure and arrived completely undamaged. This isn't always the case with other planters I've purchased from places like Target.

The planter is really sturdy and heavy, just as you would expect from a cement planter. I really appreciate that there's a drainage hole, since pretty much every plant needs one to prevent root rot. This also came with a mesh pad to put over the drainage hole to still allow water to drip through but not let the soil escape. The rubber feet on the bottom add to the functionality of this planter too, so I don't have to worry about it scratching up the bookcase I have the plant sitting on.

I love the embossed texture on the planter, it really adds more dimension to the look but it's not busy. The pink color is just the right shade, not bold at all. It's more of a muted matte tone.

p.s. The plant I put in this planter is a heart leaf fern.
