Kristen Overdurff Abud: Can I just say I have broken probably about 30 glass French press coffee makers. And I remember thinking why don’t they make these more durable. Then I saw this!! Hallelujah! It makes great tasting coffee and it’s bullet proof lol. I’m so happy it also keeps the coffee hot longer. Holds the perfect amount of cups and has awesome Performance for keeping grounds out!

It doesn’t have any glass, so when my muscles decide to let go without my permission (due to my dysautonomia) I don't have to worry about breaking any of it. I'm hooked on this for my slower pace weekend mornings. And the price was excellent! Definitely worth it!

Renna Pearson: I must not of read the fine print very well before buying this. It's a great coffee maker if you're making coffee for a lot of people. But for 1 it 2 people it's way to big. I actually had to go out and buy a different one but I'll keep this in the cupboard for when I have company and need to make lots

Marcin Dudkiewicz: The product overall is not bad, but, when cleaning, I always want to unscrew the press to clean out the filter, but the thread is really poor and no matter how much you turn it, it will not unscrew.
I also noticed now that many people are complaining that the 'press' will stop being at the bottom and start floating up, then not pressing anything.... sounds "de-pressing" (pun intended). I'm planning to reach out to the vendor to see if they're willing to do anything for me - perhaps can update this review. If the press is fixed though - I'm quite happy with it as it's big enough to make 5 decent cups of coffee in one go.

Jon: The rod along which the filters and pressing discs slide is threaded at both ends such that turning the flat knob at the top of the press unscrews the top rather than the pressing disc at the bottom. It is impossible, holding the rod itself while trying to remove the pressing disc from the rod for cleaning, to actually do so. The rod and threaded sleeve at its bottom all end up turning together preventing the unwinding of the rod from the pressing disc - unless you use a pair of pliers to grip it. And now, the entire pressing assembly, only after a week of use, is tilting as it presses the coffee grounds, allowing grounds to escape into the coffee. What a piece of Chinese-made junk! And ridiculously expensive, too!

Pie: Wow!! I have had a few glass beaker style presses I broke every single one! Most presses are smaller than this one too. My daughter works at a major coffee house chain and she says this is the best press she has ever seen! I have had a few small ones from that coffee shop. We do use their coffee she grinds it at work to French press grind. I could do it ever time from the beans but we go through a bag so quick I don’t find a difference at all! Easy to buy a bag of coffee and ask them to French press grind. I have used finner ground coffee and with the two screen system it is just fine! (A special holiday coffee we enjoyed was already ground and it was fine! Worked just as good) I find the French press grind gives more flavor and is easier to work with and rinse out. I am not easy on things they must be tough! After I broke the last one I said enough I am going steel! I will NEVER have glass again! I can’t imagine why they even make them that way they should
