Poorly packaged in damaged manufacturers box in sent in a plastic bag.. Item arrived undamaged and complete.. As for the binoculars themselves, I am satisfied and they appear to be a quality product and provide a sharp, clear image. Too bad about the older model, I was expecting the current model as pictured.

Was the worst packaging I have ever seen for an item that is fragile. The bag was open. The extra box was open & the box with the Steiner logo was wide open. You could see the actual case. There was absolutely no padding of any kind.
I have never seen such negligence in packaging from Amazon
