My second pair of auto focus Steiner Binoculars. Both are very nice. Very clear .. eye relief is forgiving .. tough as nails .. my first pair has been on many hunting trips including Alaska, Colorado .. in terrible weather performed like a champ and the rubber finish kept them looking like new. I use them when stargazing as well .. that’s how clear and aberration free they are .. as they say “get you some”

Obwohl es mein günstigstes Glas von Steiner ist, ist es sofort zu meinem Liebling geworden. Das Gewicht ist prima und die breite Bauweise machen es enorm handlich und einfach führig. Zudem hat man durch die Art zu greifen eine enorme Bildruhe. Die Qualität ist ebenfalls prima, vor allem im Angesicht des Preises gibt es hier gar nichts zu meckern. Auch mag ich die Lösung mit dem festen Fokus, das es einfach enorm praktisch ist. Einmal auf die Augen eingestellt, bedarf es keiner weiteren Einstellungen mehr - man greift sich das Glas und fertig. Wirklich ein tolles Glas und aus der Serie werde ich mir sicher noch ein größeres holen!

I bought these to replace an older pair if cheaper binos. My experience with Steiner optics came from using them in the Army. They are well built and for the cost they work very well, however they are not MILSPEC. With that said, the image quality is very good, they gather light well in lowlight conditions, however when a another light source enters the field of view, such as an aircraft or a set of car headlights, the distortion created blurs the field of vision badly. My actual MILSPEC Steiner's don't have that happen. And my Kowa's, Vortex's and Swarovski's don't do that either, but in the light of day they are very, very good.

For those looking for a mid-size porro prism binocular, this one is for you. Although it is classified as a military marine binocular it can be used for general purposes. Stylish and very well made. Easy to carry around because of its light weight and to further add to its credential, it has fixed focus lens which mean that you just have to focus once on the left and right diopters and you are good to go. Its clarity and brightness is amazing. Although it will hurt your pocket a bit, wait for the price to drop and then snatch it.

This review will mostly be for folks that wear glasses. These are marketed as having eye relief to allow use by folks who wear glasses, 20mm according to google. You have to fold the rubber cups around the eye pieces but if you do they can work for us. The experience could be better though as it often feels like you spend a lot of time "searching" for a good view through the binoculars, even after you get them adjusted. I am nearsighted with one eye a fair bit worse than the other, so it may be a me problem. They are usable though and even more so if you can sit with your elbows on your knees.
The adjustments all have a nice friction to them that seems to hold everything in place and are marked so you can return them to your settings if you let someone else use them. I think the magnification / fov is perfect if you are looking for something to use in the woods for hunting, bird watching, or for general use. If you are getting them with the idea of looking at targets at 100 yards and farther, I would go with something with a higher magnification. The case and strap that come with them are very cheap but the binoculars themselves feel solid. I would...

Well They're Steiner's & that says it All! You can't go wrong with these! I brought these for my Daughter, & can't wait to hear her Surprise! These are just Clear as can be, even at Dusk you'll get a Crisp View! Light to carry around. I'll be buying at least 2 more as Gifts. I also own a pair of 7x50 Steiner's. ミリタリーマニアですが憧れのシュタイナーを手に出来て大満足です。以前はT社の軍事用モデルを長年使用していました。それも良く見えるのですがやっぱりこれは良いです。以前は大変高価でしたがセカンドエディションの登場で少し安く買えるようです。性能は視野も広く明るく良く見えますし文句は無いです。独特な形状のボディも頼もしくガッチリしてますが見た目に反して軽量です。デザートパターンの可愛いファスナーケースが付いているのも御愛嬌です。
持って出掛けたくなりますよ。迷ってる方は是非。
