The SteelSeries Rival 310 Gaming Mouse is designed to offer superior comfort and performance for gamers. It features a 12,000 CPI TrueMove3 Optical Sensor, split-trigger buttons, and RGB lighting for a custom gaming experience. The mouse has been rated as one of the best on the market for its build quality, compatibility, customer support, and design. The ergonomic design ensures comfortable use and the exclusive split-trigger design provides accurate and precise click-pointing. With RGB illumination, gamers can customize their lighting to match their gaming setup.Christian Schock: I have owned two of these mice. Generally really good. The first eventually had the scroll wheel fail after several years and also the glue that holds on the right side grip melted and oozed out, causing a mess on a number of occasions. My second one is now having the same glue trouble. This in a hot climate, but in an always below 78F room so it is clearly something about the material they are using to adhere the rubberized grip to the plastic mouse body. Annoying, but in all other ways I have like this mouse a lot.

Kaled: Compared to some recent mice I have had, this is solid build quality. It's a little bigger than what I've been used to, so a little more comfortable, but I really need something even bigger. I'm not fussed about the RGB ability. The accuracy seems overkill though, going up to 12,000 cpi. I do photo editing in my spare time, the most I've used in around 4,000 cpi but I would never need such accuracy. I normally use the setting around 1000 cpi for gaming. Ideal for a left-handed person like me, the only criticism is that for some reason I just cannot seem to get my side mouse buttons programmed to do what I want them to do, despite following the instructions.

Marko Nikoli: I love this mouse. I purchased it in 2018, and have been using it since with ZERO issue. I have one minor gripe, but it does not change my rating in the slightest, and I will touch on it later.
Pros:
1. COMFORT - This is hands down the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. For the last two years I've purchased 5+ mice looking to upgrade (I like to have the latest gear), with zero luck. Within less than a month I'm back using this mouse again. I pick up the mouse a lot when gaming as I use a very low sensitivity and the rubber grips paired with the light weight make that a dream. I fit a size L glove and use a claw-grip and this mouse is ideal.
2. SOFTWARE - I also use a SteelSeries keyboard and the configurability in their GG software is easy and smooth.
3. LOOKS - Great looking mouse. The RGB suites my set-up perfectly and compliments the rest of the station.
4. MINIMALISM - As a (primarily) FPS gamer, I rarely use the side buttons on any mouse, but find myself more inclined to do so with this mouse as they are big, well place (out of the way), and have a great feel. Couldn't ask for more.
5. COMFORT AGAIN! - Have to mention it again, I don't think there is...

Letalis: The Basics
Beginning of Jan I purchased the Rival 310. The mousewheel on my G403 had lost some tactility and the R310 checked virtually all the boxes. 3360 variant sensor, 50m omron switches, RGB and a safe shape. I used it for 6 days before writing this review. My Nit-Noidy thoughts are as follows.
The Good:
The mouse is very light but manages to feel well made and not hollow.
The mouse was balanced in the hand regardless of grip type, no "heavy butt" problems here.
The clicks all around feel good. Resistance is significantly more than a G403, but less than a Huano.
The side buttons are some of the best I've ever used - medium resistance and tactile without appreciable pretravel etc.
I appreciated that the middle click was one of the easiest to press in, some mice have a middle click so stiff that its utility is virtually eliminated. Some folks have said that the scroll wheel feels cheap, I differ on this point. There is no rattle or wobble and the tactility is excellent with very light resistance - that means it is good for both gaming and browsing.
One of my favorite aspects of the mouse vs the G403 are the subtle groove ledges flanking the...

Scott W: While my search for the perfect mouse continues, the Rival 310 is close in a lot of regards for what I've been looking. I'm generally on my computer for 10+ hours a day, where my work is mouse-heavy at times and my playtime is gaming. My goal has been to find a mouse that works well whether I'm on the clock or off since switching mice out is a pain. I've owned many different makes of mice, most recently being the G502 Proteus Spectrum( Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB Tunable Gaming Mouse, 12,000 DPI On-The-Fly DPI Shifting ). While I like a lot of things about the G502, it's heavy and long. I'm primarily a fingertip mouse user and have medium sized hands, so these mice that are the size of a small weapon don't generally fit my usage style.
I did the usual search on reviews for the 310 and noticed that most of the reviews here on Amazon are actually on the 300, which is a slightly different beast. Make sure you note which one you're looking at since it's isn't always obvious on Amazon/how the vendor lists the product.
Pros of the Rival 310:
- Light and I do mean light. Considering I'm coming from the G502, it feels like going from 200lb weights to 15lb. I've...

Zuhayr Sarker: I freaking love this mouse. I'm giving it 5 stars despite the minor gripes I've had because of how much I do.
I've heard weird things such as saying the mouse has bad grips but I honestly think they're good. I don't know why people say it's flat and not-grippy but it's sticky, curved and considering it's silicone, it won't wear out. The design on the grips also look nice and work well enough. The only gripe is that it causes some sweat to the fingers but it's not bothersome at all to me. Also, this mouse honestly looks nice. I don't think pictures do it justice but I honestly think the design is great, and it's SUPER comfortable. I have relatively average fingers and a palm where my hand measures at about 18.5cm/7.3 inches from the bottom of palm to the middle finger. I think it fits great. I am a finger/palm type gamer. For comfort/design, I'd give this a 9.5/10. I'm genuinely satisfied.
Now for the buttons. The left/right buttons are honestly good too with decent clicks that have a moderate actuation. The only thing being there is a SLIGHT (but so slight and hard to press to get there it's barely noticeable) travel downwards after a click. These are Omron switches...

Brian: I was looking for replacement for my Razer Abyssus Essential, which started double-clicking on the left click intermittently after 2 years of use, and thought this might be a good replacement. This is a good mouse for a palm user but not claw or fingertip users (me being fingertip). The material is very soft and comfortable, the clicks have some weight/resistance though not nearly as much as the Razer Abyssus Essential. The side buttons are not too easy to press accidently, which I appreciate.
