Beth Lynn Nolen: Bought these to help keep warm while walking and running in cooler temperatures, and for walking, they're perfect. (They tend to collect a little too much moisture from my breathing when I run, which is less than ideal.) These were a little bit long for me, and all the fabric bunched up at my neck felt a little restricting, so I ended up trimming them down so they were a more reasonable size.

Nicole: I got these neck gaiters for use when I walk my dogs around the neighborhood during the winter, so I can stay warm and keep my face covered. These stood out because they are multi layer, which makes them more viable for virus protection, and because other reviewers said they were warm.

They are definitely warm but almost too warm. No matter how cold it is, I end up with my neck sweaty and my hair wet from being under. I definitely wouldn't recommend for any temps warmer than 35 F because it's just too thick for that, you'll sweat too much. If you're looking for something to keep you warm in colder temps than that, these will do for sure.

They're also super tight. I have a pretty small face/head and it's hard to get these over my head. It definitely isn't possible to do without messing up your hair, if anyone was wondering. As a result, they lay pretty close on the neck, contributing to the sweat problem.

They are comfortable and breathable for wearing over your mouth and nose. The tightness holds them in place well without slipping.

Chris Roeszler: This is a fantastic product, very warm and comfortable EXCEPT that it's too small for me. I can see wearing this around my neck, or covering my head and neck if it either weren't too cold or I forgot other warm weather gear. I could even see wearing it as just a hat. I've tried all of these scenarios and as a hat, I think it's fine. Around my neck it's just a bit too small.

I also think, if worn as a hat, it would be nice if there was a way to close off the other end of this item to minimize the cold coming in.

For hat size, I know I wear a 7 1/8". For the neck issue, I think my neck measures about 17". If you're neck is smaller, I think this would be a great product for you!
