Amazon Customer: This was an effective choice for a winter hike up Mount Marcy in NY. Kept my head warm and dry.
It wasn’t perfect for me though, because I wear glasses and I had trouble keeping them from fogging with my face fully covered. Aside from that, this is a good choice.

D.I.Y: My first ever purchase of an cold weather balaclava,
Pro: it kept me warm on days 30-40F, it fits with my full face motorcycle helmet, haven't yet tested in zero degree weather.
The split in between eye & mouth part is well designed & out of the way.
Cons: the bottom back side half of the balaclava scrunches up a bit leaving my neck to be exposed to wind draft, If i were to buy another one I would look for one that covers that small area of the back & shoulders.

RBreinich: We purchased this for weather in Fairbanks AK in December, where we've been told to expect cold down to -5 degrees. I purchased one for my husband first, to see how well it would fit both of us. It fits him perfectly...snug around his forehead, mouth and nose, and it covers his ears as well. We bought is for several of the features they advertise....water resistant, a mesh panel over the mouth/nose to reduce fogging on his goggles. It should do the trick. However, they also advertise it as "one size fits all". I tried it on as well, and it definitely is not form-fitting for me. There are gaps that would allow cold air through. I wish they had more than 'one size fits all'....because it does appear that it would keep me warm if it fit as it should.

Steve Heffernan: I typically wear 7 5/8-7 7/8 fitted lids, w/o and w/ hair respectively. Currently I have the hair flowin' and this mask was snug but very comfortable, full coverage from shoukders up and minimal akin showing with my glaases on. Very easy to put on and it stays where u put it, it doesnt shift at all while u ride!Absolutely loved it!
Hit a low temp of only 52°F while riding home but at 60mph the windchill is about 42-43°F, and I was hella warm the entire ride home. Another huge factor is that I didn't have to alter my chin strap of my helmet at all cuz the top wasn't thick enough to cause me to loosen it up at all. It also didn't get all wet and gross(moist to those of u who hate the word! LOL) over the nose/mouth area during the course of the 1hr 15min ride home. WELL WORTH IT ON THIS PURCHASE!! THIS WILL B PERFECT FOR SNOWMOBILING THIS WINTER AS WELL !! CANT WAIT !!

It goes on easily and stays put. It's warm, and you can breath through it.
It should do well on those cold weather days on my motorcycle.
