Darlene Karthauser: I expected to get the 5 -way split extension cord, but the picture of the item (all I could find that was close to what I wanted) showed 5 multi-colored outlets that looked to be different sizes of power. What I received was exactly what I was looking for: a 5-way outlet with 5 yellow 3-hole outlets with heavy duty cord. I love it!

Lo adquirí por su diseño de "pulpo" que permite colgarlo sobre el centro de la mesa de trabajo y resultó mejor de lo que esperaba; sustituyendo a la extensión común y al multicontacto de regleta, que utilizaba anteriormente (el cual debía ser sujetado con algún sobrepeso, para evitar que cayera de la mesa, con el movimiento de las herramientas).
Ya que es común que trabaje hasta con cinco herramientas al mismo tiempo (aunque de manera individual); lo que implicaba la molestia de enchufarlas y desenchufarlas cada vez, al trabajar con una extensión común.
O la consecuente maraña de cables (cuando utilizaba el multicontacto de regleta en la mesa o en el piso), que suelen atorarse con los manerales de la prensas de carpintería (en uso) o con las puntas de las tablas o listones; con el consecuente riesgo de atorones, caídas y de algún accidente fatal, al utilizar router o sierra circular.

Rod S.: I bought this item for Outside use to plug in some Christmas LED lights but was not aware it was Not Waterproof. The Main Issue I had with it was that the receptacles are not that well made as when you plug in a cord it does not hold itself in and it's hard to push all the way in. I would have paid a few dollars more for them to improve on this as they definitely cut corners when they designed this. It works but a little disappointing.

Df: It’s essentially a power bar with cord ends... it works as expected.. nothing really too exciting about it. The build seems good and seems durable. I haven’t had any issues with it so far. Regular power bars are way cheaper, but if this is what you need then it’s great.

Mareque Steele: ESSENTIAL for wrangling all those baseball sized ac/dc converters that hog up the wall or power strip outlets! These are GREAT for plugging in cell phone/tablet chargers and all manner of oversized power converters (external hard drives, USB hubs, routers, switches, even some printers and monitors). Since most of those plug warts take very little power, it is highly unlikely to overload the circuit, and this squiddy has an internal circuit breaker too! (15amp)

Couple clever tricks:
1. The switch is lighted so you can find it easily and tell quickly if it is on or off.
2. There are inset holes in the back so you can mount it on the wall or side of a desk or other vertical surface to keep it from cluttering up the floor too much.

This squiddy is pretty rugged looking and would probably last a long time in a rough environment too, but it is NOT designed for outdoor use. If you are using this for several high demand items in the garage (like plugging in several power tools for simultaneous use) BE CAREFUL you do not exceed the total power draw rating for this squiddy (max draw 15amp at any one time) OR the outlet the squiddy is plugged into (whichever is LESS).
