The flask itself does appear to be stainless, the lid is not. The little hinge mechanism that holds onto the lid is plastic and tends to get caught up and stop you from fastening the (also plastic) lid.
I recommend removing it, it snaps off of the stainless relatively cleanly, then you can pop the lid out and use it. This makes it a lot more usable in my opinion. I attached a picture of what that looks like, its not perfect, but its also an 8 dollar flask so calm down.
Some guy also said it turns his whiskey black, i ran mine through the dishwasher before using it, but my brandy still seems to be the same color after leaving it in there overnight so I think thats not a problem for everybody.

I've used it twice now with no issues, throw it in the freezer with booze and not had any leaks. Seems solid, especially for the money.
Nobody's gonna compliment how it looks or the build quality, but its solid enough.
