Michele W.: Nutze das Produkt seit Jahren und will nichts anderes mehr haben!! Kette ist immer sauber und läuft rund. Wichtig ist, dass man die Kette bei Nässe immer schön trocknet und alle 100-150km die Kette neu beschmiert. Dann hat man auch keine Probleme und einen sauberen Antrieb.

Kevin: I have been using this stuff for a few years now, so I might be biased, but it's great! I felt like I had to clean my chain before the initial application, but I have also been lazy some times and applied it to a new chain that still had the factory preservative chain grease still on it, and this stuff still performed exceptional! I will continue to use Squirt chain lube, it's rather easy to apply and creates a nice waxy barrier to keep dirt and debris off of the chain, but still offers lubricating properties to keep my chains rolling smoothly. It can get caked on if you don't regularly clean the chain, but the excess wax will end up falling off on the trail, so no real issues. I would recommend this chain lube to anyone looking for an easy, worry-free way to keep their bike chains well cared for.

Ryan DubbsRyan Dubbs: So I'll first say I didn't take my chain off and properly degrease, I just used quick degreaser spray, and one of those chain cleaner kits. In retrospect, I wish I took more time on this step. I'll get into that later.

I did the cleaning and did the initial application which made my chain look like I put vanilla ice cream on my chain. After it settled it looked better, I applied the secondary application before riding.

My bike has never shifted as smoothly or quietly. I'm on about 3 rides with this stuff and just did my first reapplication not because I had to, but because I got this grease /wax build up stuff on my jockey wheels. This is where I think I simply didn't clean my chain enough.

The chain stays super clean, like unbelievably clean. I will 100% use this on my brand new chain next time I replace and will go full ham to see if there is a difference.

I still use regular dry lube on the fiance and kids' bike for now, but I think on their next bikes, I'll just use this.

Amazon Customer: I followed the instructions and have this wax lube on a performance road bike. It is great! My chain stays cleaner than the oil based lubes and it washes off easily. I top off often and the bike operates very smoothly. I am a big fan of this and i have tried many.

_Aru: Excelente alternativa a encerar la Cadena y mucho mejor que lubricantes a base de aceite en el sentido que no se pega tanta tierra y mantiene la transmisión lubricada. Lo uso para la bici de gravel y después de la primera aplicación solo limpio con un cepillo seco y vuelvo a aplicar. Si es demasiada la tierra o hay humedad, enjuago con agua con la máquina limpia cadenas, seco y vuelvo a aplicar. Ningún rechinido en más de 500km en terracería.

I13J: I know that chain lube is one of THE most polarizing topics in cycling. Everyone has a favorite product, and will go to the death defending it...

Well, I'm still new-ish to cycling but average around 100 miles a week, so I'll give my feedback:

It's easy to apply and doesn't hold much grit/grime. Easy to clean/wipe down with a rag by backpedaling while firmly holding the chain, and then reapply. One small bottle seems to be more than enough to last for quite some time, so value is good. My main "gripe" is that it's not particularly long lasting, or at least doesn't seem to be. I find that after 70-90 miles, a new application is required for things to be running nice and smooth. I don't do super long rides so it's fine for individual outings, but it has made me dedicate myself to a cleaning, wipe down, and "top off" on the chain with new lube on Sunday nights.

Otherwise, it does a good job of keeping the drivetrain clean and easy re-application. The black waxy bits that come off as the life wears down is slightly annoying, but I suppose it's better than the black greasy droplets that get slung off a chain from wet lube.

Commercialphoto32: Never tried a lube like this before. It’s amazing. Preparation is the key:

1) Used a degreasing tool (pork tool chain cleaner) first. Ran the chain through it twice. Then
2) Took my chain off and degreased it by soaking/shaking it, scrubbing it (with a clean brush), repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat. Did that until there was essentially no dirt/grease coming off. Did the same thing with my cassette and chainrings….. scrub, scrub, wash, rinse, scrub, wash, rinse……
3) rinse/soak/shake chain with water. Repeat, repeat, repeat.
4) dry everything with hair dryer. Repeat. Repeat.
+++[Totally clean and dry chain +++….. next: put chain back on bike and…….
5) Applied Squirt to inside of chain. Let sit for 5 minutes. Did again. And waited 2 hours.
6) applied again and let sit overnight.
7) wiped off outside of chain
Now, since this was the first application, I did steps 5, 6, and 7, the next day and the next. I wanted to “load” the wax into the chain.
When complete, the chain was smooth, tack free but waxy.

Took my bike for a ride and it was literally soundless. Amazing. My “multi-day-wax-pre-load”...

Fernando Hernandez: The media could not be loaded.  Lá cadena siempre estará seca pero lubricada. Por lo tanto no retiene suciedad. Puedes espaciar la limpieza con desengrasante retirando periódicamente el exceso de polvo con un cepillo seco y volviendo a lubricar.

Amazon Customer: Squirt highly recommends that the chain be extremely clean before the first application. You can take that to heart. Do not use it on top of oil based lubes!
I had been using wax lube in a spray form already, but the chain was filthy so I cleaned it twice before applying Squirt.
With chain and cassette squeaky clean I applied Squirt, waited 30 mins and applied it again.
Although I had to wait a couple of days before I could get out for a ride again I loved the results!
Silky smooth shifting, and nice silent running drive train.
No regrets.
If you don't want to remove the chain and use melted paraffin, then this is the stuff for you.
