Rav M: It says the battery is included. It wasn’t in the packaging and there wasn’t a pull tab if it was pre-installed. Moreover, the 6 screws used for the battery compartment are EXTREMELY tiny and Philips - I couldn’t even get my eyeglass kit to undo the screws. This is a kid’s toy so replacing a battery shouldn’t be complicated, except when there’s ZERO thought given to the design. In fact, the lazy way would’ve been to use push tabs on the back, so this isn’t even lazy, it’s straight up malicious design.

J: My son was very excited to get this. The description over-sells this. The idea of all of the things it says it does makes it sound great. But it does less than it says. The light on it is very dim, not like a flashlight. The little red spy papers don't stay inside like they're supposed to. If they improved it, it would be better. I returned it and they took it back with no problem.

Elizabeth: The smallest setting is a little big on my eight-year-old, But overall he loves it and thinks it’s really cool. One of the message capsules fell out and got lost on the first day, And the company sent me new ones at no charge when I inquired about it. Appreciate the quick turnaround and good customer service.

IAmYourMuse: There were no customer reviews when I bought this watch for Christmas for my 9 year old daughter (who has become obsessed with being a "super sleuth" lol), so I wasn't too sure what to expect quality wise.
She was SO excited when she opened it! We haven't figured out every little detail of it yet, but she has enjoyed writing secret messages and flipping open the front to expose the time...and of course the little light on the side is fun too, though it's not very bright. It may be a bit over priced, but you can't really put a price on your child's happiness! :) The plastic is sturdy and I'm giving it a 5 star rating because that's what my daughter said to put! So there you have it!
