Jaimee: I did research before buying the sparco stapler. What I received was a stapler that says Business Source on it. I remember seeing this stapler on Amazon as well. They are both manufactured by the same company. I expected mine to say Sparco, but it says Business Source. It does the job that I need it to do, but one of the sides goes through to the other side of the paper if pressed too hard which makes it easier for a child to cut themselves on the part that cut through the paper. As a teacher I put together a bunch of books, and the end that curls and staples the papers together went through the other side about half the time. The other thing that I read others also mention is that the bottom grip does slip off. It didn't bother me that much, I just replaced it, but it is something to note.

If you are thinking about getting a Sparco, just beware that you might get one that say Business Source, so you might want to save yourself a few bucks (it's not a lot, but...) and just order the Business Source long reach stapler.

Sunshine: I purchased this long reach stapler mainly for making miniature booklets, where a traditional stapler isn't long enough to reach the center of the pages - even in miniature scale. With this however this task becomes possible.

My only complaint is that the pressed stapler (in my unit anyway) doesn't look even on both sides. On big projects this may not be noticeable. But when working on small scale creations it does make a negative difference. So I disregard using it and I just carefully use the traditional stapler I have on my miniature creations when it's folded-open, so the staplers go in the page with pointy legs without them being bent by the base part of the stapler. And then I fold them carefully by hand or tool.
