Sven: Ist bereits der zweite Satz Rollen den ich kaufen. Die ersten hanbe ich unter die Baukreissäge gebaut, diese sind unter der Bandsägen. Sehr zu empfehlen wenn man wenig Platz ht und Maschinen verschieben muss. Durch das Absenke stehen sie immer fedt.

DocDave11: Built a sturdy workbench that was really heavy that also included heavy vices. I wanted something retractable so that it remained sturdy but could be engaged when I needed the bench moved. These were simple to install, easy to use and wow do these work great!

Terry H. Williams: I used theses to convert a thrift shop sturdy maple table to a movable work table in my shop.

They worked perfectly and were simple to install.

All of the parts were there and they were of superior quality.

Maybe they could have been better if they were finished in a candy apple red metal flake with 26 coats of clear lacquer, but I'm guessing no one would want to pay for that on a caster kit.

MattMatt: I have about 150 pound workbench that I use quite often that needed the lowering wheels so that it could stay sable while I’m using it but still be easily moved when I need space in my small shop.

These wheels work perfectly, I even use the screws that came with it, which is rare for me. With a lot of products, the Phillips had stripped a bit on a hardwood application, but that’s typical, I wish they used squarehead or torques.

Fantastic price, and absolutely worth every penny.

The only “downside“ is that the rubber protectors for the end of the leavers fall off so if you find those necessary, be ready to glue them on with something that would adhere to the rubber and metal, I don’t know of any glue that will do that so best of luck lol

shopper: These are solid built and well made wheels that work perfectly to make heavy workbenches mobile. The only issue as reported by others is A) the instructions are not clear - assembly must be in the right order ie back plate screwed on first then the upper arm and bottom plate bolted on. The bottom plate should have the side prongs facing downwards and then the wheels bolted on. B) the supplied screws are adequate but the cross heads will tear even with softwood unless a pilot hole of about 3mm is drilled first. Overall a great product just ensure a dry run before assembling.

Brian S.: The casters are built of thick steel and are nicely finished (out of the box). Assembly was something of an issue as 2 of the 4 casters were malformed - screw holes with very small tolerances and not drilled perpendicularly, nesting parts too tight to fit together, etc. I was able to assemble them once I found a big enough hammer but the nice finish is less nice now. I haven’t mounted them to the table yet so may still end up returning if they don’t work… probably worth spending a little more up front for a better set since I definitely paid extra to the swear jar.
Update: Since writing the original review, I attached these to the table and have updated my rating to 4 stars because they do work well. The lifting cam, which I was concerned about, works well, the bearings rotate smoothly and the wheels are of a nice quality. The enclosed template (mount 1.5" above the floor) worked perfectly for me. Hopefully, my assembly issues are not typical!
