The Elated Emu: My Clarion 50w x4 that I took out was louder. This just didn't have the volume the old one did even though the rating was the same. Also I had to return it as the SD card reader did not work right.

Phil PoaPhil Poa: The media could not be loaded.  Bluetooth, FM, aux in, perfect. I like that it's got separated buttons. my previous radios buttons stopped working partly because they were connected. looks good, works well. just installed it.

T-RawT-Raw: Installed in my 2002 Dodge Caravan SE. Install was easy. Just get the correct wiring harness, dash kit, butt connectors and watch a YouTube video to save yourself a few hundred dollars and DIY. The stereo itself is very lightweight and feels cheap. But for $25 you can't beat the results. The knob fell off during install but I put some flex seal on the inside and won't have to worry about that again. Bluetooth paired right up with my android phone. Sound quality and station tuning is great for such a cheap device. Remote is pretty useless because it has to point directly at the IR sensor but who really uses that inside a car anyway. I bought this for one reason. To stream music, news and driving directions from my phone via Bluetooth. I havent tested the USB charging ability yet. I also don't really plan to make calls thru the device as I always use a headset paired directly to my phone but I thought it would be cool to have the ability to receive handsfree calls if I forget my headset sometimes. I don't expect great quality from handsfree calling but I'll test it soon. Overall very happy with this cheap upgrade so I can stream music and cable news on long...

Sabrina: Wanted to like this. Wasn't expecting audiophile quality, just basic modern functionality to use my phone with BT and play mp3s in my off road beater Subaru. Unit arrived, wired it up to the adapter harness per instructions, and.. nothing. No power, never powered on. Checked all the wiring. Wired it directly to power, checked the fuse, double checked all the wiring diagrams. All correct. Still no power. Returned with a painless Amazon return through a local Kohl's.

Replacement unit arrives. Same exact story. Wire it up, no power. Won't turn on. Check and double check. Check fuses. Nothing. I've been putting car stereos in cars since I was 16. I have literally never had this happen where it wouldn't even flash the display or do *something* when 12v is hooked up appropriately, let alone have two in a row that both simply did nothing. Returning the second one for a refund.

I picked this particular unit because of the other choices on Amazon, this one seemed like it had the best reviews of not catching on fire, etc. However, I at least expected it to work, even if only for a short time.

This is the first time I've gotten anything...
