vivian leah camphor: This was a good product-the lights were really nice and lit up the room , and i liked that they "danced" to the beat of the music. It "died" on me last week after 6 months ( I Purchased it in March ) and I thought that maybe the bulbs were replaceable , but unfortunately, they're not . So now I am left with the prospect of purchasing another one .

Theo L.Theo L.: When I first picked up I heard an ominous rattle cluck and decided to just open it up and see what was going on. Thankful all the electrical connections are disconnectable so and only go in one spot so it’s really easy to do so. The mounts that held the light and motor had broken and aren’t that strong dropping this light could probably snap them. Because I bought this for $10 it wasn’t really worth shipping back so I used some super glue and glued it back in place which worked great the motor in inside spins very slowly so I’m not worried about it’s self breaking again.

Pros:
Actually looks better than expected if you put it very close to a wall because the light pin points are much sharper and sort of fade in and out of focus and looks sort of like it’s breathing up and down that wall, sort of like going to wrap speed, a bunch of line moving in to the center of the light then away again
The mounting stand thing seems useful, but I don’t plan on using it for now

Cons:
It’s very cheap feeling
It makes a little bit of noise from the motor and gear, not loud but if it’s quiet you might hear it

Gmillea: Works okay, lights are bright. Major down fall is that it resets after each time it is unplugged. My Christmas lights are on a timer and this unit is placed above the first story eves, out of reach from the ground. I like it on the green and red strobe shining on the second story of the house. Problem #1- the remote is only good from about 2 feet away from the unit, any further than that it doesn't read the signal. Problem #2- the setting resets each time it's unplugged. So, it doesn't keep the festive green and red after they are unplugged during the day and because the remote doesn't reach the unit, it rolls into the scroll feature and scrolls they all the color functions which are not all festive. I will be returning the unit because of these issues and I have reached out to the mfgr with no return correspondence.
*Update- shortly after posting this review the mfgr contacted me to ensure my satisfaction. I am told they are working on a new product that will fix these issues listed above. I will update once again when I get refunded. Great customer service to ensure satisfaction!
*Update #2- I received full refund for the product. This is a good vendor to buy from.

M. Lemley: I am very pleased with this product and it will suit my needs perfectly. The only design flaw is the power button on the remote does not turn the unit off. It only turns the lights off. Since I am putting in store display windows, it is very inconvenient to physically plug and unplug them daily. I purchased timers to turn on/off when it is dark and light outside and they make my display windows look very festive. For Christmas the red and green reflect off my foil fringe curtains beautifully. I will use red for Valentine's Day and Green for St. Patrick's Day. Blue and red for our patriotic holiday's along with the white lights around my window will look awesome. This is a great product for parties where unplugging is not an issue. I highly recommend for such events, but for using like I am, I need to be able to turn the power completely off to save electricity. Do not expect one unit to fill large room with the effects. But at this price, having several of them around a large room would be perfect. They can be used for many occasions. They would be even better if a white light was part of the package. So, maybe in their continuing development they could add white as well.

Amazon Customer: I like the product. It is exactly as advertised and cheap, which I appreciate. The device appears to have three light bulbs in it, for the red, blue, green, and displays all three colors and a mix of each. When mixing the colors they don't blend. So blue and red don't make purple, you clearly see blue and red. If the device is plugged in it's always on. You can turn the lights off, but the bulbs inside still rotate and make a little bit of noise. In order to turn the device off you must unplug the whole thing, which is slightly annoying. The remote is also a little bit finicky, as in it doesn't have great range and doesn't work through objects (even small ones). And I still don't know what the music buttons on it are for (I also didn't receive instructions), but I don't really care about that.
Overall the product is cheap, I didn't expect an amazing device because of this, but it works as advertised, I like it, and I use it to add a little extra for holidays and decorations. It's a decent product for it's very low price.
