Soothing Mustela Foam Shampoo for Newborns to Help Prevent Cradle Cap

Andrea Furlani: It took care of mild craddle cap in just a single use. Also used a baby vegetable oil before and got a silicone brush to massage the shampoo. You can even use it on the brows and it is tear free. Just be careful cause it’s very drying to the skin.

Emily: Works well for cradle cap. I use it and then use the Frieda cradle cap brush set and it makes a massive difference. It's gentle on the scalp, but I feel like it need a few pumps to treat each bath. It's supposed to sit on the head, so I let it sit and then have to use another pump to feel like I'm "washing" the hair after the first pump or two sit for a few mins. Also, the tiny baby hair isn't fluffy after, it feels a little pasted to the scalp, but I just do a quick wash with baby soap after I rinse this off. I don't mind it nor do I think this detracts from the effectiveness of this shampoo.

Karla Catalan: I was first introduced to this brand when my 4 year old was a newborn. He had insane cradle cap and nothing seemed to help reduce it. After a few uses, my husband and I started seeing a difference on our son’s little head. When I was pregnant with my second, I immediately stocked up on this just in case he had cradle cap as well. Stasi: This shampoo has worked well to clear my baby’s cradle cap. He is quite thick curly hair and this has helped to clear his scalp..I’d say there was visible improvement after two uses. The product in my opinion can strip baby’s hair of moisture but a great moisture routine before and after will quell that problem. I use olive/coconut oil before and after washes. I just figure it is more important to get rid of the cradle cap and deal with the issues with lack of moisture on its own. For now when the cradle cap is under control I will use a more moisturising shampoo every other wash, that should help! Definitely get it and give it a try, it definitely worked for my little one.
