The muzzle (waiting on replacement) looks extremely durable, breathable, and doesn’t seem to restrict breathing, eating or drinking. I would give the company 1,000 ⭐️ if I could!!! jess: Loved the product itself however definitely think about the dog you are going to put this on. Our cane corso is very intelligent and the muzzle fit well and worked as intended however he found it and chewed it up. We are looking at some alternatives he cannot chew up if we happen to not pick up off the floor or if he finds it.

FF: I chose this brand previously during early basket muzzle training for my pup. I typically prefer Baskerville brand, but found this silicone, pliable Baskerville-knock-off for the training process. This brand is not less expensive than Baskerville, but the muzzle can be modified easier for training if needed. I was impressed with this muzzle until the stitching came apart while out on a hike. There was no pressure on the muzzle, it was not attached to a collar, my pup was not excessively pawing at the muzzle.. it simply fell apart. The stitching appears to be solid in the majority of the areas, but weakness at a critical attachment point was a significant quality fail. If I had chosen this muzzle for a dog with an active bite history I would be further disappointed. For dogs with liability risk, choose Baskerville or a custom made cage-still muzzle.

Connie C. Martin: I got this to put on my 90 lb dog before taking him in the vet. I put it on him a few times at home prior to going (for a minute or two), just to get him used to it. It went on easily, and was easy to adjust. I liked that he could pant while wearing this harness, as it seemed more humane. I put it on him in the car when we got to the vet, and before I could get him out, he started grabbing it with his paws and pulling his head back. Next thing I knew, the strap had snapped in half and the muzzle was hanging below his face, positively useless. Perhaps leather straps would work better for crazy dogs like mine. Other than that, it seemed to be just what I needed. Shame it didn't at least last thru the vet visit.

Megan Kelly: This product is very well constructed; however, my dog was in the middle of the measuring chart I followed so I went up a size like it stated. I wish I hadn't. The size I got him was obviously too large.

Alison: Great returns thanks to Amazon. Please revise the size chart. Size 6 is not for a Rottweiler. Fits way too large. I'm trying the next size down but I think that 4 may be the best. My dog is 120 pounds but Rottweilers have short snouts :) Appears to be a good product. I have used one at the vet for a while now. Time to get ours for training.

zachiedoo: Size 4, red. This fit a 90-lb Bernese Mountain Dog.
Pros: soft, washable, the dog is able to drink and take treats very easily.
Cons: the strap under the chin connecting to either side is about 1" too short, causing the side straps from the muzzle to the behind-the-ears straps to not fit flat. Also, the between-the-eyes strap is not removable unless you remove the stitching, which we did. The muzzle stays on very well without it and the dog does not wear the muzzle without supervision. Would buy again.

F.A.: So, finding a muzzle to work with a long slender a snout, was very difficult. And this does perfectly. Aside from the fact that I wish this came with the straps to hook it to the collar, it's a good muzzle.

My boohoo, is that my girl can press her face to a fence post, turn a bit sideways, and get her teeth past the rubber!! Which, is what I need the muzzle to prevent. If she's determined, she can figure out how to manipulate the rubber to still chew/eat whatever she fancies outside. Sooooo I still need to find that muzzle.

Nam: The length is right, but the width is a bit wide. The dog still can bark and bite with the front tooth. It is not simple to put on because to many connection point - the collar need to go through the neck and back then a clip between the top part of the muzzle. The other issue is adjustment clips could easily shift as the dog pull with his paws. It will be better if use plastic for the adjustable clips instead of thin wires that can’t stand any force. My golden lab mix puppy can get it loss to the point where he can bite, easily.
In addition, the plastic clip detached from the fabric and I need to sew it back to secure it as soon I open the package.
