Ksey: I purchased this for my mother after she’d worn a boot for nearly a year. She said when she slept she was scared to take her boot off because the times she had tried she’d woken up in pain. So I purchased two different brands of these. This one she liked for the compression and support it offered. She often would use this to try and start walking around her home without the boot. However it did cause her skin to itch and look inflamed after taking this off. She does have extremely sensitive skin so this isn’t likely to happen to everyone I don’t think. But if you or the person you’re purchasing this for has sensitive skin I’d suggest using it with gauze under it or trying a different brand.

Julie Hall: This thing is great. Simple to use. Great compression and stability too. I’m it using while lounging and as a night brace for a *severe* sprain. My foot and ankle are still too sensitive and sore to leave unwrapped at night as I’m an active sleeper and this is 100% better than an ace bandage. I can get better support and compression without having to make it too tight like a bandage. And quicker to put on/take off. Will definitely be wearing this for ankle support as soon as I graduate from the completely rigid ankle stabilizer I’m during the day while I’m out and about. I take that off and use this when I get back home as I can make it looser and still feel supported. Feels more protected in this too than in a bandage for say when you back up on a knee scooter and bonk your foot against a chair or something. I think it would provide enough support to use throughout for a mild sprain or twisted ankle.
You control how tight and supportive it is. It’s well made and sturdy. Great product. Great price.

FerretociousFerretocious: The other night I was coming back from my friends' next door. Their driveway has this stupid 4x4 rail on it to separate it from my yard which is a bit lower. I stepped off it down into my yard and stepped on a downed branch I forgot was there. So when my ankle buckled I fell from their driveway with the full weight of my body. Horrible sprain :(

I have a couple of ankle braces since my other ankle sprains easily but they don't compress very well nor are they very comfortable. One of them is also too large on me. So I took a chance on this. I must say I am actually SHOCKED how great this feels! The compression is SO great and SO comforting! I love the fact that since it's so stretchy you can make it EXACTLY how tight you want. Since this is neoprene instead of cloth like an Ace bandage it's also not going to lose its stretch after awhile and be useless. It doesn't shift, either, since the clever design of this starts with looping it around your foot. It also won't come loose because the entire end of it is Velcro and it stays put.

I sprained my ankle on Sunday, got this on Tuesday and have had it on day and night except for when I shower. I love how comforting it...
