Lena: We have been fans of Hillshire Farm products for years. This Turkey Polska Kielbasa/Smoked Sausage is one of our go-to/staple foods that we have in a refrigerator and is a repeat item in our Amazon Fresh cart. It takes minutes to prepare - which really helps when you feel hungry but low on energy and pressed for time. It tastes good by itself - slightly fried, broiled or grilled. We sometimes cut the sausage in smaller pieces and cook with onions, carrots and green peas for a quick meal. It goes well with sautéed cabbage, potatoes, rice, eggs and other side dishes. We have also grilled and served it as hotdog substitutes in a bun. Tasted amazing!
I just wish nitrates were not used as preservatives - however it's very common in similar products.
Note (0918203): The last couple of sausages had a bit too much salt. This will still be a staple for our family but we hope the flavor stays more consistent.

Sam_I_Am: Has nitrates, which are bad. But as an occasional product to buy it's tasty. Wish they had version that used celery or other natural ingredients to preserve rather than nitrates to 'cure'.
