Amazon Customer: One third of the folders are a lighter weight and different finish from the others. I called Smead and they sent me a new box. That was nice of them to do, and I know they wanted to please me, and I am using the new box. However, the folders inside had the same problem as the original box. I feel like I was treated fairly, but wish Smead would fix the initial problem. Two thirds of the folders have a slick finish, and one third has a rougher finish. Not good if you tend toward OCD or if the weight/feel of your files is important to you.

Toni H.: Had the same quality control issues with both boxes I ordered but these are nice quality folders. The top tabs should hold up to a lot of use -
And SMEAD is standing behind their product - UPDATE- Smead came through in a BIG way. Greatly appreciate their responsiveness.
