Kirk Burke: 1st Gen echo plus would only work 4 secs and cut out. Bought the more expensive one that looks like the original and that one works.

George Adel Andraws: This cord is a great alternative to replace the power cord for the Amazon Echo. It's sturdy, works well and is long enough to reach the plug. It's a little longer than the cord that came originally with the Echo.

My only gripe is that there is a light on the base of the plug. It lights up to indicate that there's power, but when the room is dark I can see the light and it's annoying. Other than that it works fine.

T. Beckwith: Original cord suffered death by dog. I was disappointed not to be able to find an OEM replacement (what's up with that Amazon?) but Alexa fired right up once I plugged this in and she appears to be in good health. At times, back to being her overly helpful self.
