Ebony...: Sometimes she just opens the app to site see. lol. Rapid Ring works fine on her outdated phone while the regular Ring App works good on her tablet. Unfortunately I could not get it to cooperate with her firestick. Ring.com seems to have bugs it's often working out. The echo dot answers fine once you get familiar with it's commands. It's given her a sense of security & convenience. Slowly but surely bringing her into present day's advancements of technology!

AL: Update on May 18 2021.
The customer support center replaced the doorbell for me on Aug 2020. And the battery could last about 4-5 months with light use (1-2 motion detection notification per day).
I will update the rate from 2-5 since the customer support services is great and the issue was fixed.

It's been really a while that I keep reaching with Ring customer support about the battery life issue. The 1st battery would only last about 1-2 weeks (with motion detection and recording enabled, live-stream disabled), but the strange thing is, the battery won't last longer even I disabled the motion detection and recording.
After few conversation, the Ring customer support team sent a 2nd battery, but it only last about 1 week longer than the first one.

I 'm still keep contacting them for the battery issue now, and will update here.

Sheri: Super easy to install - we attached with two-way tape as we didn't have a pre-installed doorbell. App is easy to download and set up. I was easily able to create a "family" so that my husband could also view and check on the Ring on his device. Quality of video is also very good. I didn't order a rechargeable battery, and In would encourage others to.do so. . . We have had ours almost a month, and the battery that came with it is still goes by strong from its initial full charge. Highly recommend this! Comes with free 30 day video storage, and I am considering continuing with that feature as it is very reasonably.priced.
