Sibirianblue: I bought the product in order to raise the computer table by five centimeters. So, the only thing that I needed to do is to drill a bigger hole so M6 screw could pass through it. 2 minutes work and the legs were attached to the computer table legs. So far it does its job the way I need it to be.

page turnerpage turner: We just had some very hard rain and our basement got some water. It was time to lift up our basement furniture a bit. We took the 1” feet off our sectional sofa, drilled these feet (2”) on (using the preexisting holes), and they are perfect. They look great. I was worried the height would be out of proportion for our low setting sofa, but they are not. Everyone in our family says the sofa is actually more comfortable now (not sure why but maybe the extra inch makes a difference?). I love the floor protectors, since we have painted concrete floors with rugs down there. They are perfect. I wish we had done this years ago. I did find an 8 pack of these for less on Amazon, but I had already bought these. Very happy with the purchase.

KW: The instructions indicate that a 3/32" hole should be drilled for these. You will want to drill 5/32" holes instead for the screws that they provide. Maybe they updated the screws at some point and forgot to update the instructions, but this is a pretty big difference. You may experience some damage based on the material that you are drilling into. For example, if you drill based on the instructions first, then try to re-drill at 5/32" to fit the screws, this re-drill process can cause a "corkscrew" effect on the hole, which can cause alignment issues when the screw is installed.

Funny bonus info, but the first image used on the product page shows one of the screws as a hex head with fully-threaded shaft, different than the other three screws in the image.

madbooklove: I bought a gently used ottoman with caster wheels on it that didn't lock. Replaced them with locking casters that didn't function properly. And finally, I saw these, and not only does my ottoman no longer move around willy nilly, my floor is protected, AND my ottoman - which was an inch higher than my couch - is now the same height making it much more comfortable to use.

In terms of installation, I didn't even predrill pilot holes. It was like 30 seconds for each foot. Easy peasy.

Definitely recommend.

C. KentC. Kent: I bought these to raise the height of our kitchen stools. They always felt too short. I drilled holes and attached these no problem. Hopefully this will get us through until we buy new stools. I’m not sure how well they’ll hold up, not sure if the strength of the wood in the thin legs will be compromised in the long run. Pro tip: I used a thin flat screwdriver to pry out the white rubber nonslip inserts so the stools can easily slide on tile. They popped right out.

Kindle Customer: Köpte fötterna för att höja ett vardagsrumsbord som var lite för lågt och resultatet blev väldigt bra och bordet står stadigt även med nya fötterna monterade.

Ska man klaga på nånting så är det att yttermåttet verkar vara snäppet större än 50mm, bordsbenen jag monterade på var 50.4-50.6 och även vid exakt mätning med förborrning i mitten så sticker en liten bit av benen ut på samtliga sidor, men det är ingenting som gör något ifall man inte är extremt petig.

J.P.S: um unser Bett etwas zu erhöhen. Stabile und einfache Befestigung unter den Bettpfosten mit nur einer Schraube und mit dem angenehmen Nebeneffekt, dass das Bett nun nicht mehr so leicht verrutscht.
