chris setzer: Makes life a lot easier to have this. Comes with different size hoses as well. Would recommend getting both the big and small size as the one i got originally was to small for motorcraft atf bottles.

Allidap: Great for filling hard to reach fill holes on Ford Manual transmissions. Would have given 5 stars but have only used it once and don't have knowledge of how long it will last. Better than ones I have used in the past.

John: Used this for filling front and rear diffs on Ford explorer. Least messy with screw on pump, which means less of that distinct gear oil smell! Only gripe is the black holding piece doesn’t do a great job holding and I wish the tube was longer for unique fill positions. I like that is comes with 2 interior tube sizes for different bottle sizes. I used it on a Lucas bottle and got it all out.

Murry: Note there are 2 sizes of this style hand pump. The first one I bought from Harbor Freight. The "cartridge chamber" part of the pump did not fit in the opening for a standard Napa quart of 80-90 gear oil. There's nothing special about the Napa quart plastic bottles... they are same bottles as all the other brands of gear oil that I have used. Then I read the description of this one closer and realized there are 2 sizes. I'd call this one the smaller of the two and it does fit gear oil quarts. If you are looking for a hand pump for quarts of gear oil this one fits the Napa and Super Tech (Wal Mart) brands for sure - I used it for both yesterday.

Previously I used a hand siphon pump - the red one with two red flex tubes. You can transfer gear oil with that but I found this one much easier. The siphon pump tubes are tough to manage with one in the gear oil bottle and the other in the fill hole, and then use your third hand to pump ;)

The hook gizmos to keep tube in the hole didn't work for me as the fill holes were too big, but still, this was a much easier process than anything I've tried before.

Tom JrTom Jr: This is a replacement for my old one. After 5 to 7 years of use the hand pump finely went out, and I bought another one the next day. I have used this to pump on several types of oils into differentials, transfer cases, and removal of other types of oil-based products. I never washed my out after use but I would pump all the oil out that I could and let it hang in different positions to let the remaining oil run out of the pump. I will highly recommend this hand pump for small jobs around the house. The picture shows the 28-ounce bottle I use with this hand pump. This plastic bottle is smaller and easier to handle when working in odd places. I never used it to pump gas or diesel as I have a different hand pump for that. (Pump for my gas or diesel is a, Koehler Enterprises RA990)
