Joelle: It makes my pup's coat so soft and shiny. She is an Aussie mix who sheds and had itchy hot spots and sore rash. This shampoo is gentle enough to wash her sensitive skin. It didn't cause her rash aggravated, but also actually calmed it down. There was light natural scent. We bathed her 1-2 times a week per our Vet's recommendation.

Orchid lover: Honestly not really sure if it is helping my dogs itchy skin or not. I know one of my dogs is allergic to it. Not sure what is in it that she is allergic to. I read the ingredients before bathing her, but she has so many allergies it’s un-telling. The scent is pleasant and it gets my itchy girl clean. Seems to help for a day or two but it may be a problem that bathing is not going to help. I would recommend this product if you have an itchy dog. It is a bit expensive for me but it is worth it to help my old girl out even if only for a day or two.

MrsA: Looking past the rather large price tag ($20 for dog shampoo?!?), this really is an awesome dog shampoo. Can’t say I’d be willing to pay even more for it, though.
Our first experience with it wasted a heck of a lot of shampoo. It is THICK. So thick, we ended up using a quarter of the bottle trying to cover the dog. Since then we have been thinning it out before putting it on the dog. Works much better and you use a lot less at a time.
It does seem to do what it advertises. Our dog’s coat is soft and shiny after washing, and he doesn’t stink after a few days. In fact, we can go a week between washing before he starts looking and feeling dirty. Other shampoos made him itch (we had to use a different one before our order of Skouts Honor came in).
Our dog’s breeders/trainers recommended this shampoo, and I understand why. It is great!
