Sara M: For years I have struggled with period issues that were just dismissed by my doctors. I knew something wasn’t right and I talked to everyone I knew (even some acquaintances) in hopes of finding something, ANYTHING, that gave the answers I was so desperately looking for about my extremely regular pre-ovulation spotting and crazy mood swings. What drove me most crazy was doctors just dismissing me and not even bothering to listen. When Nicole’s book first came out in 2020 I was so excited that it sounded like the place where my answers were, but I waited to buy her book because I got pregnant that same month 😀 Now in 2022, after a wonderful, healthy pregnancy that honestly felt way better than my regular cycles, my periods have gone all over the place and been giving me trouble again. So I decided to finally get this book. I love it that she validates us women so much and has real explanations for what is/was happening in my body. I love it that in the dietary section she does say that everyone is so unique and no one diet is right for everyone. My one issue with the book is that then she goes on to talk about how no one should ever eat gluten and makes it seem like you are...

Clara Lima: This is such an amazing book! Plenty of practical solutions to understand and solve unbalance in period health. Clara: I still can't believe it. I have been suffering from severe PMS, i.e. PMDD with depressive phases, terrible mood swings and heavy water retention with extremely painful breasts, for 7 years. I have tried EVERYTHING and spent a lot of money on my PMDD - nothing has helped. My quality of life has suffered extremely, so much so that I have even postponed holidays etc. I have now followed the programme in the book very strictly for more than one cycle. I eat very healthily and consciously and yet there was still a lot for me to learn from the programme. I deliberately didn't look at my period app. Usually my severe symptoms start 2 weeks before my period. I was convinced that it would be 10 days until my period because I had ZERO problems with my breasts (!!!) and only mild mood swings. Yesterday, when I couldn't resist looking at my calendar, I couldn't believe my eyes - only 5 days to go!!!! Normally I would have been in pain walking up and down the stairs and would have been a mess. And now?? Almost zero symptoms!!! I did a real dance of joy and couldn't hold back my tears. MA: This book definitely has upgraded my knowledge and experience of being a woman. So much detailed and useful information, leading you through chapters filled with biology and anatomy to understand better your body to practical step-by-step guide how to start the process of reaching a hormonal balance and happier life. I wish one day every girl will be able to have this knowledge from early on before their first period.

Amazon Customer: Where to start...man I love how Nicole breaks down the book for people who are not in the medical field like me...I love her diagrams and drawlings in the books that help us understand how are hormones work and why they do the way they do...I suffered from PMDD and I found when I changed my diet, did light excercise walk/yoga, and took many of her recommend supplements like Bcomplex, NAC which I love and many others I felt so much better. My PMDD was treated with hormonal BC that was taken continous to prevent a period abd thus many symptoms everytime I tried to get off BC I get so sick and PMDD symptoms would go crazy! I did this for one month what she recommended got off my BC with no problem but it was so good and helpful I ended up prego within three weeks of stopping it! I highly recommend this book for a PMS or PMDD suffer it is life changing but remember she gives you the material and info...you MUST do your part in your care to see change and hope;)
