Chan: Bought these just to protect my face from the wind, but if you have any facial hair it will make you itch. Other than that, it’s breathable, soft, and adjustable.

Jeff Gomske: It's the height of winter as I write this, and where I currently live, morning temps hover in the mid to upper teens when I head off to work at 3:30am. In order to maintain my weight loss, I force myself to ride my bike to work, rain/shine/snow or whatever. I have regretted that many times...however, I stick with it because I know it works.
My face freezes quite thoroughly on my way in (and on the way home for that matter). I ordered a baclava last year and it simply did not work the way I wanted. I ordered a velcro one that wraps around my face and covers my ears, but I found that if I turned my head a little too far one direction, it gradually slid down more and more until my ears were essentially uncovered, which would freeze the tops of my ears and basically make the whole thing kind of a useless piece of material.
Then I saw this neck gaiter and thought, that looks like just what I need. First off, I had never heard of the term, 'gaiter' before, so I guess I was educated while finding out about this.
