SheaMoisture Olive & Marula Baby Lotion: Soften & Nourish Skin from Head to Toe, 13 Fl Oz

Nycasb: I was very surprised how strong this fragrance is, considering it is for babies. I tried it on myself first and it has a strong enough perfume that your clothes pick up the smell. My husband commented that I smelled very perfumey when we got into the car. To me, it is a cloying floral fragrance that says "grandma." It is too bad because the texture and absorption of the lotion are very nice. But it is far too fragrant for me to use on myself, let alone my baby. I don't care if its natural essential oils or not, fragrance is fragrance.

Irish73: I have been using this and the matching head to toe shampoo on my daughter since she was born 3-1/2 years ago. Her pediatrician always comments on how beautiful her skin is. I love that there is no chemicals in it. No unnatural preservatives. Everything is plant based. It smells great too! I actually swap the pump dispenser from the lotion bottle and put it onto the shampoo bottle, then take the flip top cap from the shampoo to put on the lotion bottle. The lotion is so thick that the pump dispenser doesn't work well. I hope this product never changes and is always available!

Gee: I use it an I have not been a baby for many, many decades. Lovely body cream, makes the skin fell fresh, solf and hydrated. Will buy as long as they sell this.

Shopoholicnot!: So, after reading the reviews I decided to purchase. I purchased with intention of using on my newborn but thought the scent was a bit too strong for a baby once I received. I however use it on my 3 year old. It's quite moisturizing and smells divine on her. My husband asked, did you switch her lotion or something? She smells like a baby all nice and clean and fresh. I wouldn't recommend for a baby like I said but a toddler, yes. My only complaint and why it lost a star is because the cream is so thick that it's hard as hell to pump it out. I ended up dumping the lotion into an empty jar I had as it was so frustrating after bath time to get some lotion out. I had to cut it in half and scoop it out to transfer it. That's how thick it is. Other than that. This would have gotten five stars from me

Ma-fia: I recently discovered Shea Moisture products. Their quality is better than average, but you have to read the labels; some of the stuff is great, some is not so great. This particular lotion is perfect. Nice smell, excellent texture, goes on well. I have small pores to begin with, I've been using it all over my face and body with great results.
I didn't much care for Coconut and Hibiscus body lotion, and I very much like Olive and Green Tea body lotion (got both from Target a while back). All that said, this lotion is better than the Olive & Green Tea, in my opinion.

oregonian: I ordered this after it was recommended by a friend, I was told it was unscented...needless to say it is not. It didn't meet my needs as I wanted an unscented lotion but that's my fault for not reading description & listening to a friend & one-click ordering! It feels great & scent is pretty and pretty strong...which is fine just not exactly head to toe as described in my opinion ~ I wanted it for my face & it's super perfumy ~ still gave it 5* cuz I didn't read description or reviews & that's not their fault ~ but I never leave reviews so I wanted to just in case others read them ~ to summarize: 1) it's scented, prettily but definitely scented. 2) feels super soft 3) a little goes a long way 4) I ordered their unscented & love it ~ gave this one to my teenager and she described as a sporty yet sweet scent :)
