Kelly: I thought this product would be a great solution for what I needed around my toilet in my garage, but did not work for what I needed. I could not get it to work in one piece around the base of the toilet because of the curvature. I could get it to stick to the floor in a oval pattern (the base of the toilet shape), but when it came to sticking it to the base of the toilet it bubbled up on the porcelain & would not lay down.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: You need to be extremely accurate with your placement once the protective film is removed. It will peel paint if you're not careful. It does exactly what it is supposed to. For me it bridged the gaps between counter and wall, as no amount of tube caulk would do that. I needed a slightly wider width, but as the pics show, it still worked with edge to edge adhesion. No more water down the back of the sink cabinet.

jennfizz07: I bought this to go around the tub and toilet in my kids bathroom. The caulk in there was nasty and I wanted something that wouldn't stain and would hold up to the water that always seems to be on the floor. While measuring it, pulling the paper off the back and sticking it down wasn't easy in a tight space. It dries quickly and looks so much cleaner then trying to run a wide caulk stripe. I feel like I got my money's worth, hopefully it lasts.

detconnectiondetconnection: It's been over a year since we purchased and installed this adhesive tape. Total distance was about ~10 feet and it still looks great today. Success is truly in the prep work. Clean the surface and pre-fold the crease for the length needed. Has a very good adhesive and trick is to aim the pre-folded crease into the area being installed. Then carefully press the vertical & horizontal surfaces in place. Don't rush and the adhesive is forgiving if misplaced. Simply lift and position the tape again. In my application I completely removed the adhesive backing prior to installation. Found it easier to not have to manage pulling that off at the same time. As an extra measure, we used a small 3-6" length of 2x4 to apply pressure on both surfaces and slide it along the distance.

MFG: We do wish this came in other colors besides just white.

C MC M: Edit a year later, one star removed. I bought this again for the bath and it didn't work well. I waited for days to put it on the cleaned, dried surface. The seal may have been poor because there were dark spots showing through. I had to take the strip off and caulk. Too bad, it looked good at first. The potties still look alright, though.

This does about as well as I had expected. As you can see here, after almost a month, the curved part of the tape started coming up only a little. This might be because of user error. To achieve the curve around the base, I had to heat as well as I could with the reach of my blow dryer and pull--not lay-- it around the base. This spot had the most heat applied so I suspect that the error may have been in just how much I pulled. I suggest being just a little more careful. I didn't heat the back part as well, so well see how well that stays with time. The new appearance of tape instead of just caulk was a little shocking to my husband who didn't see it before I put it on. Perhaps I could have used something a little thinner. But the potty looks tidier, even a little sturdier. I haven't used much cleaner near it not mopped with a very wet...
